About this place
This trailhead located along the La Sal Pass Road provides access to the Burlfriends and Medicine Lake Mountain bike loop as well as the South Mountain hiking trail From Moab, head south on US191 and travel 22 miles. Turn left at the Hwy 46 junction toward the town of La Sal. Drive another 13 miles and take a left on to the Upper Two Mile graveled dirt road. After 2 miles make a left turn for the La Sal Pass Road. Continue up the road until you see the sign for the South Mountain trailhead. It will be on the left side of the road and it is marked with a sign.
