About this place

Two trails begin at the Soup Springs campground. One for hikers starts just at the entrance to the campground and the other begins at the corrals. Both meet a short way later, forming the Slide Creek Trail. Slide Creek Trail then connects with Mill Creek Trail and then on up toSummit Trail. From Alturas go south on US Hwy 395 approximately 18 miles to Likely, CA. Turn east on County Road 64/Jess Valley Rd and go 3.2 miles to Blue Lake Road and West Warner Road. Turn lefeet (northeast) on West Warner Road for 5 miles to Forest Road 40N24. Turn right on 40N24 and go 4.5 miles to the campground.
