The large parking area is also the northern terminus of the Franconia Notch Bike Path. Located on NH Rte. 3 just north of I93 exit 35, this trailhead accesses a less travelled route to the north ridge of Mt. Lafayette, intersecting with the Garfield Ridge trail after 4. 3 miles.
