About this place
The Sheffield Trailhead is located near the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The trail itself is 6.0 miles long and accesses the north western portion of Teton Wilderness. It begins at Grand Teton National Park and ends at Junction with Trail #6030 (Rodent Creek). The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding, and Backpacking. Along this route, visitors can stop by the Huckleberry Fire Lookout for some great views of the eastern aspect of the Tetons.
