Trail #1175 Motorized, Single track, motorcycle trail. Provides access to the top of Sand Mountain. Directions from Steamboat Springs: Go west on US Hwy 40 to County Road 129. Travel 28 miles north of Steamboat Springs, turn left onto County Rd 62, 4 1/2 miles. Turn right on FS 42 Rd. Turn left (south) on 480 RD (rough 4x4 road), take right on 480.1A to the end of road.
