About this place
Parking and vaulted toilet 1/8 mile from a trailhead. Primitive campsites via short trail. 120' x 150' parking lot easily accommodates equestrian trailers. No overnight car camping in parking lot, but overnight parking permitted. Sand/cobble beach; large river pool with small sandy beach downstream. From Smith River NRA Visitor Center, Gasquet, travel west 7.2 miles on US Hwy. 199. Turn left (south) on South Fork Road (CR427.) Turn left past the second bridge, and continue to milepost 7.3
