About this place
This trailhead provides access to the Three Sisters Wilderness via the Pole Creek Trail #4072 on the Sisters Ranger District. Wilderness permits are required for both day (self-issue) and overnight (Recreation.gov) use. A fee is charged. From Sisters, OR: 1.5 miles west on Highway 242 (McKenzie Pass Highway), then approximately 10 miles south on Forest Service Road 15.
