About this place
Pintler Trailhead is located near the boundary of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness next to Pintler Creek. The trailhead offers parking for vehicles with trailers and a single vault toilet. A kiosk with wilderness information and registration boxes sits at the beginning of the Pintler Creek Trail. From Wise River take Highway 43 West for approximately 30 miles. Turn on Forest Road 185 and continue north for 12 miles. Pintler Trailhead is at the end of the road.
