About this place
This is an unpaved parking area giving access to this trailhead which access to the Crater Rim Trail #3957 which leads to the Paulina Peak Trail #3951. Recreation Fee Site: Parking at this site requires a recreation pass. Passes are NOT available at this site, but can be purchased from the Newberry Welcome station automated fee machine, Forest Service offices, or vendors. From Bend, OR: Travel 23.5 miles south on Highway 97, then 13 miles east on Paulina Lake Road/County Road 21, and then 3/4 mile south on Forest; Road 2100 500 to parking area on the right. (This is not the parking area at the very top of; Paulina Peak.)
