Pacific Crest Trailhead with vault toilet, hitching rail, tables and fire rings. The trailhead is near the Hat Creek Rim Overlook. Visit this quiet spot for overnight camping along the trail. There is plenty of turn around space for horse trailers The Mud Lake Trail Head is located 1 mile off of state route 44 on FS Road 34N34.
