About this place
Mono Creek Trailhead is located 1 mile off of the Pioneer Scenic Byway approximately 23 miles south of Wise River, MT on NFS Road 2465 on the way to the historic Coolidge Mining Site. NFS trails provide visitors access to the East Pioneer Mtns. and the Torrey Mtn. Recommended Wilderness. From the intersection of Montana HWY 43 and the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway (FS Road 73)proceed south on 73 for approximately 22 miles to Forest Service Road 2465. Travel southeast 1 mile on NFSR 2485. Mono Creek Campground and Trailhead will be on your left.
