About this place
The Missouri-Fancy Trailhead provides access to the Holy Cross Wilderness via the Missouri Lakes and Fancy Lake trails, which connect to make a 9-mile loop. This trailhead is very busy throughout the summer months. Please park so as not to block the road. From Minturn, travel east on US 24 for approximately 11 miles and turn right onto Homestake Road (NFSR 703). After 8 miles, take a right onto NFSR 704 and follow this road approximately 2 miles to the trailhead.
