The MBRTB continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and evaluate potential impacts and adjustments to recreation sites. Please remember to review current recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and focus on recreating safely while protecting yourself, Forest Service employees and our volunteers. Snowmobile unloading for riding in the Gould area. Directions from Walden: Head east on HWY 14 for 22 miles to Gould. Take County Road 21 (Forest Road 740) south for 1 1/2 miles to the Michigan River Winter Parking Area located on the left hand side of the road.
