In fact, campers can ride directly from their campsites andstart enjoying this scenic trail.For those looking for an even shorter, more leisurely ride, the Luna Lake Short Loop is the perfect length. Drive 5 miles east from Alpine on Hwy. 180 and turn left (north) on Luna Lake Entrance Road (FR 570), just east of the lake. This gravel, all-weather road leads 1 mile to the bike trailhead marked by an international bike symbol and located just prior to the campground entrance.
