This trailhead located in; the parking lot at the Zigzag Ranger District provides access to the west end of the Hunchback Trail into the middle of the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness Area. ; This trail traverses the forested Hunchback Ridge which has several rocky viewpoints along the route. ; Scenic Devil’s Peak Lookout is located near the southern end of the trail. ; Provides access to:; Hunchback Trail #793The Trailhead is closed. To reach the north end of the trail from Sandy, OR - travel 17.5 miles east of ; on US Hwy 26. ; Turn right (south) into Zigzag Ranger Station and park at the east end of the lot. ; The Trailhead is on the south side of the lot. ;
