Provides access to Buck Creek Trail #54 just north of Mount Adams Horse Camp. Buck Creek Trail is a moderately low elevation trail that parallels the White Salmon River. The trail stays high above the river gorge with occasional viewpoints from the top. It is popular with horseback riders out of Mt. Adams Horse Camp. This accesses Morrison Creek Trail #39, which access Mt. Adams Wilderness. A wilderness permit is required when entering Mt. Adams Wilderness. Permits are free and self-issued at trailheads. Motorized and mechanized uses are not allowed in Wilderness areas. This parking lot has a 4 vehicle capacity. From Trout Lake, WA take Mt. Adams Road north to Forest Road 80. Take Forest Road 80 to Forest Road 80-031 at Mt Adams Horse Camp and turn left.
