About this place
The Lewellyn Cove Nature Trail is a short loop trail accessed from Route 28 near Fontana Village. It connects to longer trails and is part of the Fontana Trail Complex. Steep in places, this trail has some interpretive signs and markings. Hikers are advised to inquire at Fontana Lodge for an updated trail map of the area. From Robbinsville, NC, take US143N towards Bryson City. Turn left on NC28 west and proceed approximately 10 miles towards Fontana Village. The trailhead parking will be on the right, and the trail is across the road from the trailhead parking.
