About this place

Provides access to: Lake Ann Trail #600 which accesses Mt. Baker Wilderness. The trailhead is only accessible in a vehicle when the Mt. Baker Highway SR542 is open to Artist Point. When the highway is closed to Artist Point, the closest parking is at Bagley Lakes Trailhead. Winter access requires route finding and travel through avalanche terrain. Lake Ann Trail is part of the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail route. A fee is charged. From Glacier, travel east on Mt. Baker Highway SR 542. It is approximately 23 miles from the Glacier Public Service Center to the Lake Ann trailhead and parking lot. The parking lot is located on the left (east) side of SR 542 one mile before Artist Point.
