About this place
Trailhead on National Forest land. From New Mexico Highway 152 at Kingston, turn onto Kingston Main Street and procced west for 3 miles to the Ladrone Trailhead. The first 2 miles are passable with a high-clearance vehicle. The last mile is a rough jeep trail - it's advisable to park in any number of pullouts before conditions become too difficult. There are no signs identifying a trailhead.
