About this place
This trailhead is located just beyond the Gothic Townsite and Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. It accesses the Marroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area, the 401 Trail, or a short hike to Judd Falls. The trailhead is very popular in the summer months. From Mt Crested Butte, travel County Road 317 north for approximately 5 miles past the Gothic Townsite to the trailhead.
