This site along U.S. Highway 12 has a picnic area, interpretive signs and connects with the Lewis and Clark/ Nez Perce National Historic Trail at Howard Creek. The Lewis and Clark/ Nez Perce National Historic Trail is also known as the Lolo Trail. From Lolo, Montana drive 17.5 miles west on U.S. Highway 12.
