About this place
This forested and paved trailhead has shady picnic spots and gives access to Rainy Lake Trail 310, an easy, fully accessible, paved trail with no elevation gain. Also gives access to Lake Ann and the Heather Maple Pass Trail 740. This is a very high use trailhead. A fee is charged. From Winthrop, drive west on State Route 20 about 35 miles to Rainy Pass. Park in the south parking lot on the left side of the highway.
