Day use are with interpretative displays and access to the Tahoe Rim Trail. Generally open May to October as weather conditions allow. From Carson City, travel approximately 11 miles west on US Highway 50 (from the intersection of US-50 and US-395) to the trailhead, which is located on the south side of the highway.
