The Gold Ridge trailhead is located within the Gold Creek Campground. Parking for the trailhead begins before the campground. Trailers and larger vehicles could use campground access roads to turn around. The trailhead accesses the 8.0 mile long Gold Creek Ridge Trail # 43. The trail begins at Forest Road 312(Gold Creek Campground) and ends at Forest Road 1348 (Willow Mtn). From Stevensville, MT head south on East Side Highway 0.5 miles. Turn east (left) on Burnt Fork Rd (County Road 372) which becomes FS 312. Follow for approximately 13 miles to the trailhead. The trailhead parking is located just before the bridge passing the Burnt Fork Bitterroot River
