Visitors to the Glenn Emery Trail can enjoy hiking, trail running, and biking on this moderately challenging 3.8-mile route that has end points at the Stuart Lake Recreation Complex and the Pollock Community Sports Complex. From Alexandria, drive north on U.S. Highway 165 to the town of Pollock. Turn left (or west) onto Howard Street (also LA Hwy 8). Turn left onto Howell Road for the Pollock Trailhead or travel on Howard Street for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto Stuart Lake Road and drive one mile to the Glenn Emery Trailhead by Stuart Lake.
