About this place
Located approximately an hour drive southwest of Denver, Colorado at an elevation of 7,400', Gashouse Trailhead is located within the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area and provides access to the Gashouse (#726) and Redskin Creek (#759) trails. From Denver, take U.S. Highway 285 (Santa Fe) south to Pine Junction. Turn south on Highway 126 and continue 13.5 miles to Forest Service road 550. Turn right, heading west and travel approximately 6 miles to trailhead.
