About this place
Picnic tables, garbage, and restroom facilities are available during summer months. In addition, a hitching pole for horses is available. With Mt. Hood visible from Frog Lake, this is a very popular trailhead with hikers in spring, summer and fall. Provides access to:; Frog Lake Trail #530, Pacific Crest Trail #2000 and Frog Lake Butte Trail #484.In the winter this area is a popular Sno-Park for snowmobiles, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing and dog sledding. No snowmobiles allowed; on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. A fee is charged. From Portland, OR; take Highway 26 east past the junction with Highway 35 to the Frog Lake Sno Park.
