There are three small trailheads along County Road 42 road, starting about a mile west of the Fall River Hatchery and ending at Fall River Guard Station. The Fall River Trail meanders along Fall River and offers hiking and fly fishing opportunities. From Bend, OR: Travel 17.3 miles south on Highway 97, then 10.2 miles southwest on County Road 42 to first trailhead (other trailheads 0.8 and 2.2 miles beyond).
