This 5.28 mile trail goes along the North Fork of the American River. For the Foresthill access point, from Interstate 80, take the Foresthill exit to Foresthill Road and proceed 15.5 miles to the Foresthill Ranger Station. Continue 12 miles on Foresthill Road to Elliot Ranch Road and turn left. Continue approximately 2 ¿¿ miles and the trailhead will be on the right. NOTE: The road is rocky and low clearance vehicles are not advised.
