About this place
Echo Ridge Recreation Area's summer trailheads include: Switchback, The Shoe, Lower, Upper, and North Junction. Winter trailheads include: Zoom, Snowshoe, Lower, and Upper. Maps are available on the USFS website. Camping and campfires are not allowed in the Echo Ridge area. A fee is charged. From Chelan, travel 1.5 miles west on the Chelan-Manson State Highway 150 to Boyd Road. Turn right on Boyd Road and follow the signs for 7 miles to the Echo Valley Ski Area. Continue 2 miles past Echo Valley on Forest Service Road #8021-130 to the Echo Ridge Recreational Area Trailheads to access Echo Ridge Trails #1290-1299.
