About this place
Trail provides access past Horseshoe Falls to Heather and Emerald Lakes. Developed parking area at the end of East Fork Hyalite Creek Road. Follow Hyalite Canyon Road to Hyalite Reservoir, cross the dam, then continue along the north side of the lake. Follow the signs to Palisade Falls. As you pass Palisade Falls parking lot, continue on toward the Emerald Lake trailhead for 0.9 miles. Davis Creek trailhead will be on your left. It is unmarked with parking for 2-3 cars.
