This portion of the trail has a spur to a 600 ft. interpretive and fishing trail along Silver Creek. A fee is charged. From Tawas: Travel west on M-55 for 1 mile. Turn right and travel north on Wilber Rd. for 1 mile. Turn/Veer left and travel northwest on Monument Rd. for 7 miles: Parking lot is on the left
