About this place

The Colorow Creek Trailhead provides access to the Colorow Creek and Stag Gulch trails. Bicycles are allowed on the Stag Gulch Trail. Horse and foot traffic are permitted on the Colorow Creek Trail (past the Stag Gulch junction) as it enters the Holy Cross Wilderness. From I-70 Exit 163, turn south to the US 6 intersection. Take a right and travel 2.6 miles and take a left on Squaw Creek Road. Travel for 3.8 miles. At the hairpin turn (which goes right) follow the road straight, where it becomes a dirt road. Follow the dirt road for 1.2 miles to the trailhead and parking.
