About this place
This trailhead is located on the North side of Black Canyon Wilderness and provides access into the steep Wilderness canyon below. Visitors should be prepared with the essentials of Wilderness travel and extreme elevation changes. From Mitchell, Oregon: Head east on Highway 26 for approximately 12 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 12. Continue south for approximately 18 miles. Turn left onto Forest Service Road 38 and continue for approximately 12 miles. Coffee pot Trailhead will be on your right.
