About this place
Chriss Lake Trail is a scenic hike that offers excellent views of the Escalante/Grand Staircase National Monument to the south, while ascending through aspen stands and meadows to Chriss Lake. From Boulder drive east on Hwy 12 to the Chriss Lake trailhead sign between mileposts 96 and 97 and turn left. Park at the trailhead parking area.
