The Chief Mountain Trailhead is located south of Idaho Springs. It provides access to the Chief Mountain Trail (#58).There are no bathrooms or water facilities.View a COTREX map here. I-70 westbound, Idaho Springs exit #240 onto Hwy 103. Go south to mile marker 18. Parking is on north side of road. Note: The trailhead is on the south side of the road and is not well marked. Look for a trail sign on the side of the slope.
