About this place
Located adjacent to our ski area, this trail offers both hikers, mountain bikers and equestrian units a downhill run of some 3 plusmiles that ends at the Cedar Creek Lower Trailhead. Easy access and close to Alturas andCedarville. Before you head out to the trail, consider checking outthisguide to the interpretive sites. From Alturas go north 5 miles on US Hwy 395 to Hwy 299. Turn east on Hwy 299 toward Cedarville and go approximately 13 miles to the sign for the ski area. Turn south and the ski area is visable from the road. The trailhead is just east of the ski hill.
