About this place
Access to the Stanislaus River. Road is damaged so visitors now need to walk 2 miles down the road to access the trailhead and then walk 100 steps to the river. Please practice Leave No Trace and Pack it in, Pack it out principles. Near the town of Hathaway Pines, Hwy 4, south on Hunter Dam Road, continue straight on 4N80Y. Road is gated. Walk down the road to the trailhead and river access.
