The access road for this trailhead (Forest Road 370 to Forest Road 380, past Todd Lake) is very rugged, and high clearance 4-wheel drive vehicles are HIGHLY recommended and the trailhead has limited parking at the wilderness boundary near Ball Butte. Provides access to Broken Top Trail and Soda Creek within Three Sisters Wilderness; this trail enters the Three Sisters Wilderness shortly after leaving the trailhead. Recreation Fee Site: Parking at this site requires a recreation pass. Wilderness Permits are required for both day use and overnight stays from this trailhead, available at Recreation.gov. From Bend, OR: Travel 24.0 miles west on Cascade Lakes Highway (46), then 4.0 miles north on Forest Road 4600-370, then about 1 mile west on Forest Road 4600-380.View Larger Map
