Picnic shelter is available with 6 tables and stoves at Big Creek Trailhead & Picnic area; within Big Creek Campground. Provides access to: Big Creek Campground Trail #827; -; a gentle 1 mile loop around Big Creek Campground. Upper Big Creek Loop #827.1; - a; 4 mile trail that is generally steep. Features a loop with benches at stream crossings and old growth and connects to Mt Ellinor Connector Trail #827.2. A fee is charged. From Hoodsport, WA, turn west off of Highway 101 onto State Route 119. Drive 9 miles to the junction with Forest Service Road 24. Turn left and travel 100 yards. The entrance to Big Creek Campground is on the right side of the road.
