About this place
The Curecanti Beaver Trailhead lies at the south end of the Beaver Reservoir Road #710. The trailhead is the northern access to the Curecanti Trail #870, into the West Elk Wilderness. It also serves as the trailhead for the Hoodoo Gap Trail #877. The trailhead has a kiosk. From Paonia, beginning at the junction of 2nd Street and Minnesota Creek Road, travel east on Minnesota Creek road approximately 5.8 miles. Turn right on The Beaver Reservoir Road #710, and travel approximatey 6 miles to the south end of Beaver Reservoir. The trailhead is on the left.
