Moose Lake Picnic Area is located approximately 26 miles southwest of Philipsburg, MT. This lakeside picnic area provides opportunities for day use picnicking, fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating at Moose Lake. There are picnic tables, ADA-accessible toilet and a car-top only boat launch area. There are no garbage services and water is not available at this site so please, pack it in, pack it out. From Philipsburg, take Hwy 1 south to Hwy 38 (Skalkaho Hwy). Continue on Hwy 38 to Forest Service Road #5106 (Middle Fork Road), the turn will be on your left. Stay on the FSR# 5106to the picnic area.
