Deerfield Trail trailhead on east side of Deerfield Reservoir off Slate Prairie Road; open field with fishing access From Hill City go west on Deerfield Road, hwy. 17, for 12 miles to intersection with Slate Prairie Road, FSR 188, turn right and go north for 2 miles to trailhead.
