About this place
This day use site provides access to the beach and Sandlake estuary, offering picnic tables and restrooms. A fire ring and barbecues are also available. Enjoy fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Located 17 miles south of Tillamook. From Tillamook drive south Highway 101, turn right on County Road 871 (Sandlake Road) 4 miles to stop sign. Continue on Sandlake Road by turning left for 1 mile, then right on Galloway Road. Site is at the end of Galloway Road in Sand Lake Recreation Area.
