About this place
Dry Canyon Fishing Site is a day use site situated on the north shore of McPhee Reservoir at the mouth of Dry Canyon and provides opportunities for fishing. It is about 1.5 hours travel time from the Town of Dolores. From Dolores on State Highway 145, turn left (north) onto 11th Street/County 31. Continue north and head up hill on County Road 31. Travel north for 2.6 miles to where road changes to NFSR 526. Continue north on 526 for 17 miles. Turn left (west) on NFSR 514 and travel 10 miles to the intersection with NFSR 510 at Salter Y. Turn left (south) on 510 and travel 7.8 miles to the fishing site.
