About this place
This is a dispersed camping area with no amenities. There is a small pond and a handful of user-developed sites. Fishing is available at Red Mill Pond and along Big Mill Creek. Users should plan accordingly, practice the 7 principles of Leave No Trace, and look for hazards before setting up camp. From Ridgway take SR 948 west to FR 143 south, just past the Brush Hollow Trailhead.
