Skidway Campground is located near the top of Deep Creek Canyon, off Highway #12. The campground location provides opportunities for nearby hiking and fishing. A fee is charged. From Townsend, travel east approximately 21 miles on U.S. Highway #12 through Deep Creek Canyon, and turn right at the entrance to Skidway Campground.
