Campsites here are spread through a stand of medium-sized ponderosa pines at the end of a road that once brought miners and equipment to the historic Reef mine and townsite. This campground is tucked among pine trees at 7,400 feet and offers spectacular views of Ramsey Peak. It's a perfect destination to soak in the scenery and venture out on a hike from either of the trailheads at the campground. Garbage bins & a horse corral are available. Black bears in area. From Tucson, drive east on Interstate 10 to State Route 90 (exit 302). Drive south 25 miles through Sierra Vista. Eight miles south of Sierra Vista on State Highway 92 turn west onto Carr Canyon Road (FR 368). It is 7 miles to the end of the road and Ramsey Vista Campground.
