French Camp is located in the Rock Creek area of the White Mountain Ranger District midway between Bishop and Mammoth Lakes off US 395. This large campground has 86 campsites; campers are permitted to stay 14 nights. A fee is charged. From Bishop go north on Hwy 395 approximately23 miles to Tom 's Place. Turn southwest on Rock Creek Road and go approximately one mile to the campground on the right.
