About this place
Located in the Rock Creek drainage, this campground is situated above Rock Creek in a mixed conifer forest. This area is known for its blue ribbon trout stream and rugged canyon environment. A fee is charged. 20 miles east of Missoula on Interstate 90, take Rock Creek exit #126 onto Rock Creek road. Travel 14.5 miles south on Rock Creek Road #102. Trailers, motorhomes and tow vehicles not recommended due to the narrow and rough road.
